Hello, I need drivers and firmware for quectel RM500U-CNV 5G modem running on Linux ubuntu 22.04, by default AT cmds & following waveshare doc, it is not able to get active internet connection
can you send the documentation part as well for installation and flashing

I tried to run this modem and in AT cmds shows the 5G availablity but not able to connect to internet, sometimes modem is even restricting my other wifi networks. Sometime it start then fails again with no network or signal strength.
I need it to get this modem run as broadband connection

For linux, it has option driver. It can recongnize the module. Did you see the device?Via ls /dev/ttyU*

For firmware, please share your current firmware.

No mobile connection is established.

Actually, your device had registered on LTE network.
Please confirm if have dailing on your device.

Which OS did you use?Linux or Windows?

I’m using Windows.

I just need the ETH connection.
I have deactivated the SIM-Card lock.
Then i RESET the Modul: AT+CFUN=1,1
I was then able to enter the PIN (AT+CPIN=“xxxx”).

After that ETH worked and i got an IP 192.168.1.2 = OK.
Now I have the SIM lock deactivated. Now it seems to be working.

Now I’m still waiting for the 5G SIM card.

I would like to connect a firewall to ETH as a WAN.
Is there anything else to consider here (NAT, etc.)

Did you confirm your SIM card has 5G?
It seems there is no 5G cell in your region.

YES, has 5G (Broadband Atlas map is 5G DSS available).
Is the modem compatible for Germany?
I’ll try this at other locations.
