EM160R-GL locked into 'factory-test' mode after firmware update

Hi.

I was trying to upgrade EM160R-GL firmware from EM160RGLAUR02A05M4G to EM160RGLAUR02A10M4G using QFirehose under linux. Update failed for unknown reason (Connection timed out) and modem went into emergency mode:

ID 05c6:9008 Qualcomm, Inc. Gobi Wireless Modem (QDL mode).

I was unable to flash it using QFirehose (Connection timed out errors) so i flashed it via QFlash V5.1 under Windows. Modem is now “alive” and have latest firmware (M160RGLAUR02A10M4G), but unfortunately it stays in ‘factory-test’ mode:

qmicli --device=/dev/cdc-wdm1 --dms-get-operating-mode
[/dev/cdc-wdm1] Operating mode retrieved:
        Mode: 'factory-test'
        HW restricted: 'no'
AT+QRFTESTMODE?
+QRFTESTMODE:1

When i try to exit FTM i get this:

AT+QRFTESTMODE=0
RDY

+CPIN: READY

+QUSIM: 1

+QIND: SMS DONE

+QIND: PB DONE

but the modem still stays in FTM:

AT+QRFTESTMODE?
+QRFTESTMODE:1

How can i make my modem work again? Can i ask for a repair file, partition table or something?

Thank you for any help.

Hello, you can exit the factory mode through AT+QRFTESTMODE=0. If it still doesn’t work, I suggest you go back to the original version test. I hope it will be helpful to you, thank you.
