EM160R-GL how to identify connection 4x4 MIMO and 256-QAM

Please share info with me.
I have EM160R-GL with 4 antennas.
Is it available AT-command or other tools to monitor 4G connection parameters during the uploading and downloading data?

  • modulation 64-QAM or 256-QAM?
  • MIMI 2x2 or4x4?
My userstory: 4G Base Station supports 256-QAM and MIMO 4x4. I want to know if my module uses 256-QAM and MIMO 4x4 during transmission data.

Hi,
Thanks for your query in Quectel forums.
Currently there is no corresponding AT command to detect the data transmitted by each antenna, maybe you can use CMW500 to monitor the data transmitted by the antenna, thanks.

256 QAM only works if you are very close to the BTS 300mt. maximum in perfect visibility. To understand which modulation your EM160 is using, you need to check the CQI and MCS values and then use a special table to find out the modulation type.

my values,4mimo, 64QAM, BTS at 4km.

I see that’s a screenshot from a Mikrotik

How are you working out it’s 4x4 mimo, from those numbers, or did you check the mimo via AT command first?

I’m trying to workout if I’m using 2x2/4x4 mimo with my RM520N-GL, but can’t seem to find where to look for that information.
