Hello, I have a Lenovo Thinkpad T14 gen 2 (Intel) laptop. Just bought the EM120R-GL PCI-E modem for it specified by Lenovo. It works well under Windows 11 but constantly disconnects and reconnects under Kubuntu 22.04 LTS. Presumably, this could be solved by the latest firmware but I’m not sure how to install it; I read it’s best to do it under Windows. Currently, I’m using the 1.0.0.39 driver (nz7wj13w.exe from Lenovo). The driver package seems to contain some kind of firmware and an executable named FWUpgradeTool_PCIe.exe but it does nothing when executed directly. The parameters from Windows Settings are as follows (parameter names translated back to English):
Manufacturer: Quectel
Model: Quectel EM120R-GL
Firmware: EM120RGLAPR02A03M4G_01.001.07
Network type: 3GPP
Data class: UMTS; HSDPA; HSUPA; LTE
Could you send me links to the proper firmware update tool for Windows and the latest firmware package for the modem?
