Hello, I have a Lenovo Thinkpad T14 gen 2 (Intel) laptop. Just bought the EM120R-GL PCI-E modem for it specified by Lenovo. It works well under Windows 11 but constantly disconnects and reconnects under Kubuntu 22.04 LTS. Presumably, this could be solved by the latest firmware but I’m not sure how to install it; I read it’s best to do it under Windows. Currently, I’m using the 1.0.0.39 driver (nz7wj13w.exe from Lenovo). The driver package seems to contain some kind of firmware and an executable named FWUpgradeTool_PCIe.exe but it does nothing when executed directly. The parameters from Windows Settings are as follows (parameter names translated back to English):
Tried running QFlash on Windows 11 with the firmware file you sent me (EM120RGLAPR02A08M4G_01.001.01.001.zip), this is the error I’m getting on the file:
“No Key(json, blf) file is found, this zip file maybe a invalid zip or you downloadmode is not right, please check it.”
The ZIP file itself is technically fine, I can unzip it and see the contents.
We have a Dynabook laptop that failed during a firmware update. When using the QFlash application, we get the following error: 'No Key (json, blf) file is found. This zip file may be an invalid zip or your download mode is not correct. Please check it.hi - it’s EM120RGLAPR02A07M4G
Hello, I am having a Lenovo Thinkpad T14 gen 2 (AMD) laptop. Just bought the EM120R-GL PCI-E, but I cant get it work with Lenovo stock driver package. Everything points to FW mismatch (I can see Quectel EM120R-GL under Network Adapters, Quectel UDE Device, but no COM ports) and the system (Windows11 24H2) identifies Vodafone CZ SIM card, but shows No Service.
Could you also send me the latest firmware file, please?
Thank you
Ondrej
