EM12-G EMM detached

hello,
I’m a private customer,
I’ve some issue with EM12-G to be too slow compared to cat6 modem I used before (5-10Mbps instead of 80/90Mbps), while I use same technical enviromnent.
Weird thing, AT+QCAINFO shows 3 bands, that means (correct me if I’m wrong) carrier aggregation is working.

so I started looking for information using AT commands.

Starting simple, I was looking for operator list:

AT+CPOL=?
+CME ERROR: 3

so I did check Extended Error Report:

AT+CEER
+CEER: EMM detached

ATI results:
Quectel
EM12
Revision: EM12GPAR01A19M4G

Could you explain what this error is for?

Is the module can’t attach the cellular network or attach the cellular network but low speed?
Please help check follow command result, thanks
AT+QNWINFO
AT+COPS?
AT+CSQ
AT+CREG?
AT+CGREG?
I suggest you can change others operator’s SIM to check the status , thanks

Just because you’re connected to 5G, it doesn’t mean you’re getting 5G speeds, which depends on a lot of factors not just the modem, including:

  1. Carrier/plan used, some plans do not include 5G data even if the modem is connected 5G.
  2. Possible throttling by the carrier for data overages (for example throttled after 500GB of usage).
  3. Signal strength, quality, propagation, multi-path, interference, etc.

I just was looking for an explanation for “EMM detached” error, so I wrote an introduction to explain the situation for it had been brought up.
