EM061K-GL firmware + official flashing instructions

Hi,

I have a Quectel EM061K-GL (M.2 Key-B) module and I’d like to update it to the latest generic, non-OEM firmware.

Module info:

Model: EM061K-GL
Current firmware (from host): EM061KGLAAR01A02M2G
USB IDs: VID 2C7C / PID 6008
Usage:
Windows 10 laptop via a USB M.2 Key-B WWAN adapter with SIM slot
Linux SBC (Radxa ROCK 5B+) in the **M.2 Key-B slot with a board SIM socket

Symptoms

On Windows: shows as a Generic Mobile Broadband Adapter, but fails with Code 10 (device cannot start)and there is no Mobile Broadband interface in netsh mbn.
On Linux: detected as cdc_mbim / wwan0, but mbimcli --query-subscriber-ready-status reports sim-not-inserted, even though the SIM works fine in a phone.

Could you please provide:

The recommended latest generic firmware image for EM061K-GL and any official flashing tool and brief procedure for updating / recovering this module over USB (DM / QDLoader). I’m trying to reflash to the latest generic EM061K-GL firmware and get the official Quectel tool + step-by-step procedure for updating / recovering this module over USB (DM / QDLoader), including any required USB-composition settings.

Thanks for you help.

Kind regards, Martin.
