EM06-E: Call not working in Linux

Hello,

I am having problems when using EM06-E module to do any calls. The sim card works in mobile and in module i am able to send SMS.

tried calling using below commands but it shows NO carrier after sometime
AT+CPIN?
+CPIN: READY
OK
AT+CREG?
+CREG: 0,1
OK
AT+COPS?
+COPS: 0,0,“IND airtel airtel”,7
OK
AT+CSQ
+CSQ: 31,0
OK
ATD+91;
OK

NO CARRIER print comes later after some time and call is not working

Is there any different commands do a call using EN06-E module?

Thanks and Regards
Vinay

Hello, it is correct to use ATD command to make phone calls. Please use the latest version of EM06-E to test. At the same time, you can insert the current SIM card into the mobile phone to dial 91 to verify whether the call can be made.

How to update the firmware files provided?

ATD+91-mobile-number;
above command is used for testing

The sim card is tested in mobile and call can be done.

Hi,

updated to latest firmware and tested still not same error is shown.
can u share the AT commands for testing normal/VOLTE call?

Hi,

For 4G calling VOLTE support is required but checking ims config shows volte disabled for our carrier AT+QCFG=“ims”
+QCFG: “ims”,0,0

OK

also checked supported carrier list using command AT+qmbncfg=“list” and our network operator is not listed.
How to proceed further? is there any ims configuration file to enable volte support for our network operator?

Regards,
Vinay

Hi,

Waiting for your reply regarding volte support for our network carrier in EM06-E module.
We are using airtel-IN network sim in 4G module.

Hi,

Still waiting for your support on volte call feature in EM-06E module.

Thanks,
