EM05-G returns state-active-esim-no-profiles

Hello,

We have an issue with EM05-G modem with firmware EM05GFAR07A07M1G.
With out Truphone sim card it returns status state-active-esim-no-profiles and then ModemManager consider this to be invalid state. But we actually expect some profile to be there. We were wondering if this is some problem with Modem’s firmware. In ModemManger versions 1.18 and below it works but after 1.20 and above they consider it as invalid state and stop initialization with an error. We were wondering if this is an issue with modem, SIM card or ModemManager. We would appreciate any help or suggestions how we can tackle this issue.

Thank you!

Below output from mbimcli tool with this status reported.
sudo mbimcli -d /dev/cdc-wdm0 --ms-query-slot-info-status=0
[/dev/cdc-wdm0] Slot info status retrieved:
Slot ‘0’: ‘state-active-esim-no-profiles’

Hi @Kirill_Zabelin
I can send you the QCM tool used by quectel, the quectel module is more compatible with the QCM tool.

Hi @Kirill_Zabelin
It should be added that the ModemManager tool must be uninstalled before using the QCM tool.

Hy @lyman-Q ,
That would be great! Could you please send it to kirill.zabelin@park-depot.de?

Hi @lyman-Q ,

Thank you! I have got it in chat messages. Would it be also possible to send me latest QFlash tool for Linux and latest firmware version for EM05-G modem?

Thank you!
