Hi,
The SIM detect logic may need to be inverted with the AT+QSIMDET=1.1 command (on some sockets, the SIM_PRESENCE pin is set to “low = plugged”). Try the AT+QSIMDET=1.1 command → then ask AT+CPIN? again.
The EM05-CE supports both 1.8V and 3.0V SIMs. You can try a newer generation 1.8V/3.0V SIM.
If the SIM you’re using is an older card designed for 5V only, it won’t work.
The error may be hardware-related. It would be helpful if you could share the EM05-CE’s SIM connection diagram.
According to the AT command, it is currently indicated that the SIM card is not inserted. Please check the SIM card first.
AT+CPIN?
+CME ERROR: 10
Currently, the SIM card cannot be recognized. You can try executing the following commands several times: at+cfun=0
at+cfun=1
Is there any hardware schematic diagram available for us to review?
