EM05 cant connect to Telstra

Hi,
im trying to connect to Telstra network using 4G lte and have problem with it.
using +QOPS I can see a few telstra bands but still no connection to them.
is there special configuration for Australia?

Which EM05 variant? EM05-E, EM05-G, something else?

Have you set the APN correctly for the SIM? For most Telstra SIMs, that’s telstra.internet

Have you got network registration? AT+CEREG=2;+CEREG?;+CEREG=0

When i can connect to network AT+COPS=1,2,“50501” i have the following answer “+CME ERROR: no network service.”.

looks like the modem want to connect to Optus…

I think it’s just camped there temporarily as it looks for a network it can register with. I suspect that repeated running of that command will show Telstra and Vodafone at times.

That second “2” means:

“not registered, but MT is currently searching a new operator to register to”

Is your SIM fully activated? Does it work in another device?
