EM 12g msft3 internet connection disappears

Hello! I have an EM 12g msft3 modem that works in Mikrotik rbm11g. This modem loses its Internet connection with varying frequency. The connection loss lasts approximately 30-80 seconds. At the same time, the connection is present in the Mikrotik interface, it shows the rssi, psrp, sinr, rsrq metrics. At the same time, I have an EP06E modem that works stably. I installed the firmware from this forum EM12GPAR01A09M4G_MSFT_01.001.01.001, but flashing did not change the situation. Please help me with this issue.

Hello. I had some similar issues with one and I tested lots of thing, so I’m not 100% sure what worked in the end, but I remember it started working more reliably when I

  • Made sure an antenna is connected to the GNSS connector
  • Used the command AT+QCFG="gpsdrx",0 to disable shared DIV&GNSS connector (you can check with AT+QCFG=“gpsdrx” first to see your current setting)

It was using the same firmware. Would be curious to know if it can help
