I am developing an application with the Quectel EG95-EXGA-128-SGNS. It runs in buffer access mode and I’m trying to acquire GNSS information as frequently as possible, that is where I have encountered the following problems:
I cannot get GNSS information more frequently than 1 sec. I have tried both AT+QGPSLOC=0 and AT+QGPSGNMEA=“GGA”. The QGPSLOC command returns values more frequently than 1 sec, but the value only changes every 1 sec. With the QGPSNMEA command I can only get a valid answer every 1 sec.
If I try to change the frequency of this with AT+QGPSCFG=“fixfreq”, I get CME ERROR 501.
My firmware version is EG95EXGAR08A02M1G.
Can you please provide some information regarding the current GNSS frequency capabilities of this product and the possible future development in this topic?
