EG95EX latest firmware

Hi,
I am looking for the latest EG95EX firmware to download and update the module.

We are using EG95EXGAR0802M1G right now, this seems old.

We are seeing an issue where SIM card is not detected with this firmware (The same hardware board already used successfully with BG95).

We see the SIM VDD being supplied in the beginning of boot and the supply goes away after a second or so.

Maybe updating the firmware would help? Please advise.
Thank you.

Hi
Could you please provide me with the necessary assistance to resolve this matter at the earliest convenience? Your prompt response is important to me as it is crucial for the successful completion of the project.
Thank You

I will send you the lastest firmware.

Hello,
could you send me the latest FW version for EG95E, please?
My module has the FW version EG95EFBR06A03M4G (IMEI 862869030025949).
Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
Alex

Please try the EG95EFBR06A10M4G_01.200.01.200.zip.

Hi Biao,
I have tried to install the EG95EFBR06A10M4G_01.200.01.200 version on my EVK Board, but qflash fails, saying… “FAIL, DL_Firehose, Time out!”
Steps I followed:

-installed “Quectel_LTE&5G_Windows_USB_Driver_V2.1”
-windows devicemanager-> searched for DM port (in my case “COM 9”)
-opened QFlash_V7.3 (latest)
-selected firmware EG95EFBR06A10M4G_01.200.01.200
-selected port 9 (three attempts using 115200,9600,460800)
-pressed START
-after 2-3 minutes QFlash tool fails with “FAIL, DL_Firehose, Time out!” message. The device remains in “programming mode” (win device manager show only “Quectlel QDLoader 9008” on COM 8)
-if I restart the modem it shows normal behavior (three COM port as usual)

Have you any idea on how to proceed?

Thanks for your time.

Best regards,
Alex

Is it safe to upgrade it using sahara mode? I have not tried this way, yet.
BR
Alex

It should support sahara, but sahara would need much more time.
If you see the 9008 port, you can use the QFlash to upgrade the firmware again.
In the QFlash folder, you can see the port_trace.log, it might tell us why it failed.

Hi,
this is the log file after the ““FAIL, DL_Firehose, Time out!” error…
Debug_Log_File.log.txt (2.7 KB)
Afterward I suceeded updating the modem, using Sahara mode.
This is the log of the update…
Debug_Log_File.log.txt (1.9 KB)

Note: a messagebox appeared with the following message: “partition table differs, override is accepted”.

After the reboot the modem works properly with the new version.
Thanks a lot!

Best regards,
Alex
