EG915U-E-TE-A Documentation

Hello! I have connected a EG915U-E-TE-A module (Revision: EG915UEUABR03A01M08) to a UMTS&LTE EVB_V2.2 baseboard. The baseboard is connected to my Linux Host machine (Ubuntu 22.04) through the baseboard’s usb interface (J801), which also powers the baseboard. A SimCard is also connected in to the baseboard. At first, it seems to work correctly, as seem by the kernel logs:

And sometimes after disconnetion, i also get these usb_wwan_open logs:

[177822.539292] option1 ttyUSB7: usb_wwan_open: submit int urb failed: -19
[177822.539296] option1 ttyUSB7: usb_wwan_open: submit read urb 0 failed: -19

[177822.539299] option1 ttyUSB7: usb_wwan_open: submit read urb 3 failed: -19

I believe this is not a power issue, as i have also powered the baseboard with an external 5V power supply.

The interesting scenario, though, is that this reset issue only happens when the SIMCard is inserted into the baseboard (and removing the SIM stops it). Modem seems to be responding to AT commands through its serial interface. In order to debug this,

  • Can you provide the EG915U-E-TE-A documentation?
  • Can you provide the latest module firmware?

Hi @guilhermes
Please give your e-mail and i will send the latest firmware to you.

Hello @lyman-Q , i PM’d you with my email. Thanks!

Hi @guilhermes
I send it,pls chk.

received, thanks @lyman-Q! Will test soon.

Hello @lyman-Q ,is there a Linux-based tool to update the module? Or do I need to use QFlash in a Win machine?
