EG915U AT+QIOPEN problem

Hi,

Currently I’m using the modem EG915EU with the firmware version EG915UEUABR03A01M08_01.004.01.001 and I have a problem it also occurs with EG915UEUABR02A05M08

The modem starts a client socket communication with AT+QIOPEN with direct push. It works fine but if the signal level is a bit low (csq=11 or 10) and then increases suddenly , the serial (uart main) starts to send gibberish. It stills sends all the data, at commands and such but also non printable characters, mostly FF . The gibberish appears only when data is received not as a response to an AT Command

It’s not solved with a power off. Only AT&F and CFUN=0, CFUN=1 solves it.

I’ve got some questions regarding this. Is there a newer firmware? Could you send it to me? And, is it a known issue? Can it be avoided somehow?

I recommend you disconnect the mcu and use the USB debug tool for cross-validation
