EG912U-GL Firmware and recommended eSIM chip

We are currently prototyping with the Quectel EG912U-GL module and would like some guidance:

  1. What is the recommended / latest stable firmware for EG912U-GL during prototyping?
  2. Are there any known firmware limitations or issues we should be aware of at this stage?
  3. Does Quectel recommend any specific eSIM chips or vendors that are known to work well with EG912U-GL (e.g., MFF2 eSIMs)?
  4. Any basic requirements or caveats when using eSIMs with this module?

    For the latest firmware ,we will send you to the mail.

  2. Are there any known firmware limitations or issues we should be aware of at this stage?
    There is some caveats according to the firmware Relese Notes.we will send you to the mail.

  3. Does Quectel recommend any specific eSIM chips or vendors that are known to work well with EG912U-GL (e.g., MFF2 eSIMs)?
    Yes we do have our on eSIM external chip(MFF2),please check the link here:

  4. Any basic requirements or caveats when using eSIMs with this module?
    Kindly check on this link for any eSIM base functionality : Esim document

For caveats depend on your proposed requirent,so far it support all the basic fucntionallity as in the document.
