EG25: Poor RSRQ with excellent RSSI & RSRP

Hi everyone.

We’re using a Quectel EG25 in a combination with two high-gain stick antennas about a meter apart from each other.
We’re experiencing random onset of packet losses (up to 50-70%) on average once in twenty minutes.

During these events RSRQ falls down to -18 or less, from the not-so-great average of -15, all the while RSSI does not fall below -50 and RSRP does not fall below -90.

What can be the potential causes for such low values of RSRQ with good RSSI and RSRP?
Could it be related to modem temperature?

The modem is sitting on LTE B3 (no other bands over here).
