Hello,
I have an EG25,firmware version running on Linux Ubuntu 20.0.4
It only connects to IPv6 connection but not to IPv4.
The problem is that I can ping certain servers like “google.com” but it will not ping “8.8.8.8” or my home server. Any way I can fix this or make it work in IPv4?
You can use AT+QICSGP=< contextID> [,<context_t
ype> ,< APN> [,<username>,<passwor
d>) [,<authentication>[,<cdma_pwd>]]
]] command to change the protocol type.
Thanks, I factory resetted the modem and it worked.
I used AT&V commands to check the parameters and returned something like this.
&C: 1
&D: 2
&F: 0
&W: 0
E: 1
Q: 0
V: 1
X: 4
Z: 0
S0: 0
S3: 13
S4: 10
S5: 8
S6: 2
S7: 0
S8: 2
S10: 15
Can you let me know what they mean or refer me where in the AT commands manual I can find what each parameter means.
Thanks
These AT commands pre-date cellular modems, but continue to be implemented.
