EG25-GL loses connectivity after suspend/wake (EG25-G working fine)

Hi,

I would like to understand the exact differences between the EG25-G and EG25-GL modules, as I couldn’t find this information in the available specifications.

We are encountering an issue where cellular network connectivity is lost after a suspend/wake cycle when using the EG25-GL modem. In contrast, the EG25-G modem works consistently under the same hardware platform and software setup.

We are currently using the following firmware versions:

  • EG25-GL: EG25GLGAR07A02M1G_01.200.01.200

  • EG25-G: EG25GGBR07A08M2G_30.202.30.202

Could you please clarify the technical differences between EG25-G and EG25-GL, and advise if there are any known issues related to suspend/resume behavior affecting cellular connectivity on EG25-GL?

Hi,

I have updated the firmware of EG25-GL and now i am using the latest firmware provided by Quectel, EG25GLGAR07A03M1G_A0.301.A0.301, but the issue is still there and cellular network connectivity is lost after a suspend/wake

The biggest difference is the RAM + Flash size.

M1G is 128MB + 128MB.

M2G is 256MB + 256MB.
We can’t see any difference in USB suspend/resume.
