Device
- MikroTik LHG LTE18 kit (board: LHGGM)
- RouterOS: 7.24.4 (stable)
- Modem: Quectel EG18-EA
- Firmware: EG18EAPAR01A13M4G_01.300.01.300 (upgraded via RouterOS
firmware-upgradefrom 01.200.01.200) - IMEI: 869816043778801
Problem
Since the upgrade to 01.300.01.300, the modem does not register on the network. It worked on 01.200.01.200 with the same SIM, location and antenna alignment.
RouterOS output:
/interface/lte/firmware-upgrade lte1
installed: EG18EAPAR01A13M4G_01.300.01.300
latest: EG18EAPAR01A13M4G_01.300.01.300
note: This firmware version is not supported in current region
status: firmware is already up to date
/interface/lte/monitor lte1 once
status: denied

Summary
- SIM is ready. Signal is good (RSRP −95 dBm, RSRQ −13 dB, SINR 14 dB), LTE band 7, operator MCC/MNC 250/02.
- The modem stays in LIMSRV (limited service), and there is no network reject cause (CEER is empty). The modem itself does not attempt registration.
- This matches the regional restriction introduced in 01.300.01.300, which other users have reported on the Quectel forum.
Request
Please provide a DFOTA downgrade package from EG18EAPAR01A13M4G_01.300.01.300 to EG18EAPAR01A13M4G_01.200.01.200, so that it can be installed via RouterOS:
/interface/lte/firmware-upgrade lte1 firmware-file=<file or URL> upgrade=yes
The device has only about 1.2 MiB of free storage, so a URL for the package would be ideal. Alternatively, please publish 01.200.01.200 on the MikroTik upgrade server for this model.
Thank you
