EC25 SMS OTA provisioning process

Hi,
Need some explanation about SMS OTA process on the EC25 m-pcie module.
I’m working with the module on QMI/AT commands control via on USB.
When an operator wants to update the SIM data via OTA messages, while running on the EC25, is this process transparent to the application level or I should be “notified” in some way to do some restart or read those SMS OTA messages via AT command ?
In other words, is the module alone responsible for handling the OTA message or not ?
Will appreciate your help.

The SMS OTA function is transparent to the application, there is no need to execute AT commands, thank you.
