EC25 quectel-CM frequent disconnection

Dear All,

I have used following guide

to setup EC25E with Raspberry Pi.

the connection keep resetting after few seconds of successful connection. The output of manually connecting is as follows.

The version of connect manager is WCDMA&LTE_QConnectManager_Linux&Android_V1.1.45

Thanks for your inquiry in Quectel forum.
Please help to double check the following information:

  1. whether the SIM card is normal now ? Could you use AT command to check whether it can register on network normally ?
    2)If you dial up again when it have such issue, whether it can dial up successful ?
    3)How about to change another SIM card or module to have a try ?
    4)How about just use ./quectel-CM to dial up , do not add the following parameters ?
    5)Please double check the route table, confirm whether the file /etc/resolv.conf have any issue.

was this solved? I’m having the same issue.

Pease check the following error information:
1.please check why “ifconfig wwan0 down”;
2.please check whether busybox udhcpc can call default.script normally;
3.please check the path of udhcpc ,default path is /usr/share/udhcpc/default.script, and confirm you have the right permission.

Thank you for the quick reply. I have re-installed everything from scratch with the latest Connect Manager, yet the module idoesn’t seems to get an IP despite the fact that I can see an assigned IP address on my service Provider Portal (T-Mobile)

additionally, yes default.script should be accessible as I’m running the CM using root.
by the way, I found 2 location for the default.script

root@tx01:/etc/udhcpc# ls -l
total 4
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1936 Mar 30  2019 default.script
root@tx01:/etc/udhcpc#

as well as

root@tx01:/usr/share/udhcpc# ls -l
total 4
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1293 Jul  9 23:25 default.script

This issue caused by failed to call the default.script, so it is better to confirm which script is effect, and confirm the path defaulted in the CM source code is correct. And also to confirm you have the right permission to access the script. Thanks!
