EC25 problem on LINUX

Hi, everyone.
I’m trying to use EC-25 to connect to our server on LINUX. It works fine with ‘ctnet’ that is widely used in China. But with another network (APN should be reset, which is already done with command AT+QICSGP) I get a problem, here is the description:

  1. The serial port keeps receiving an unexpected result:

    According to the code note, QMUXResult=0xe means ‘pin locked’, while the response for AT+CPIN? is READY, which means SIM card is not locked. By the way, the SIM card works just fine with cell phones.
  2. Response for AT+CREG? is 0,1, AT+COPS? can get the right operator name, and thus I suppose I’ve already registered the network, but any try to ping ip fails with ‘bad address’.
    I wonder if I should change any settings?

Dear Sir,
Thanks for your inquiry in Quectel forums.
For your issue, it is better to provide your whole test log, not just part of it. Please help to confirm the following information. Thanks!
1.You use which operator SIM card, and whether it is public network card or private network card ? And what is the APN you set with QICSGP command?
2. You use which way to dial a call, PPP or WWAN or Gobinet ?
3. Whether the module have register on network successful ? you can use AT+CEREG? to check.

Dear Kyson,
Thanks for your reply, here is the whole test log with all the information needed.
1.The operator name is ‘460 60 DTM’, the QICSGP command is AT+QICSGP=1,1,“hctv”,"","",3 ;
2. It is Gobinet;
3. Response for AT+CEREG? is also 0,1

I would appreciate it if you could offer more advice.

Dear John,
Please confirm the following information, if your SIM card’s APN is hctv, why you still use the wrong APN ctnet to dial a call ? Please delete “ctnet & " to have a try.Thanks!
1.The operator name is ‘460 60 DTM’, the QICSGP command is AT+QICSGP=1,1,“hctv”,”","",3 ;

Dear Kyson,
Thank you very much for your support, the problem has been solved.
I thought that APN can be reset through AT commands, even if it is wrong at first, so I did not take notice of the wrong APN in quectel-CM command. But the truth is that there’s conflict between these two ways of setting APN. So I kill the proccess and run /root/quectel-CM -s hctv & and the problem is solved. Thank you again for your help!

I am glad to hear that your issue has been solved. It is my pleasure can help you. You can go on your test. If you need any technical support, please do not hesitate to contact Quectel. Thanks!
