Hi:

I’ve read a lot of ways to put that modem in DL mode. But I would like to know, what of this is the more correct:

  • Pulled up to +1.8V, 115 pin from an external supply, before power up the module
  • Pulled up to VDD_EXT 115 pin, like the hardware design doc shows.

Hi，
You can pull up “USB_BOOT” to 1.8 V before “VDD_EXT” is powered on, and the module will enter the emergency download mode when it is restarted.Both methods you mentioned are OK.
