Hello,
I am using a Quectel EC25-EC module.
Unfortunately, the module was flashed with a wrong firmware image and now it does not boot normally.
Currently, it is only detected in Windows Device Manager as a USB DM / diagnostic port and normal
firmware upgrade is not possible.
I would like to recover the module and I am looking for the official EC25-EC firmware,
preferably a 2022 release (or the closest available version).
Could you please provide:
- Official EC25-EC firmware package
- Recommended flashing method/tools for recovery (EDL / QFIL if applicable)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You for reaching out to us with your query,
Im seeing that your unable to flash again as ports are not detected.
- Could you please confirm the firmware version that was installed on the module before the incorrect firmware was flashed?
- Are you currently using the QFlash tool to perform the firmware flashing process?
I would recommend a few steps that you may follow:
a) In order to flash again please short the pin of 1.8V and usb_boot, therefore the module will enter Emergency download mode.
b) Next, you will see the port shows Qloader in the device manager.
c) Use the same port at your Qflash software then flash the lastes firmware(we will provide you the latest firmware).
