Hello,

I urgently need the old firmware version EC25EUXGAR08A03M1G.
Newer versions do not work with my device, and the device manufacturer only supports this specific version.

The original module failed, and the replacement module came with a newer firmware. I need to downgrade it to EC25EUXGAR08A03M1G.

I am requesting the latest available firmware for my EC25-EUX modules.

Current firmware version (from AT+QGMR):
EC25EUXGAR08A19M1G_A0.302.A0.302

Reason for request (critical bug):
I’ve identified a firmware-level deadlock in A0.302.x: when AT+CMGL=4 is issued on SR (Status Report) memory while the modem is processing +CDSI: URCs (even ~2s after), the AT parser deadlocks waiting on an internal mutex. Result: modem becomes completely unresponsive; only physical power cycle recovers it. AT+CMGR=N is my current workaround. If a firmware update addresses SR memory concurrency, SMS stack stability, or AT+CMGL timeout issues, I urgently need it.

Request details:

  1. Latest stable firmware package for EC25-EUX
  2. Corresponding flashing tool:
  3. Required USB/serial drivers for the flashing process
  4. Instructions on how to back-up the current firmware

Important constraint:
My modems are deployed in a pool configuration where I only have access to ONE serial port (UART1) per modem, the 16 modem pool is connected via USB. (Bought from yxinternet[.]com)

Can firmware flashing be performed via a single UART/serial connection?
