i bought an outdoor router online and it came with quectel ec25-e, this particular device uses openwrt intelligent router os with a mediatek chip, but anytime i try to use a service provider that is on another band other than band 3 , lte wont show up i will keep connecting the band 3, but 2g and 3g works fine, only experienced this problem with lte bands.

as you can see above i inserted a sim with lte band 7 but still showing lte band 3.
Plese i need solution to this problem as soon as possible.

For your issue, please use AT+QENG=“servingcell” to check whether the module really register on LTE band 7.
If it is the same results with the above AT+QNWINFO, it may need to confirm whether the SIM card you used also support LTE band3,.
If it returns LTE band 7, which means that there have some problem on the command AT+QNWINFO. You may need upgrade the module firmware to have a try. Thanks!

Please check the Following link, you need to install the USB driver in your Windows PC firstly, then unzip Qflash package, connect to USB DM port, unzip EC25E firmware package, choose any file in firmware package, then click start button, it will upgrade the firmware automatically, you just need to watting for the upgrade successful.
