EC25-AF Mini PCIe roaming on Verizon having issues

Hi, we have a Quectel EC25-AF Mini PCIe roaming on the Verizon network with a Telus SIM card and are having issues where it loses connectivity on a regular basis and causes our device to restart. If we switch to AT&T network then the problem goes away. Just wondering if there are any configuration settings or AT commands that are required to operate on the Verizon network?

Thanks,
Doug Burrell

hi,dooglas77:
According to your description, your SIM card provider is Telus, but your Mobile Network Services Provider are Verizon and AT&T. However, roaming is mainly related to the provider of your SIM card and base station network. If you are using a local network service (non-roaming network), the SIM provider and the network provider have agreed to localize the service, instead, you will be using roaming network.
So, if you don’t want roaming, you need to ask your SIM card provider if you can offer local network service or change the SIM card, but the AT command does not solve roaming service.

Hi Herbert,

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately we have an agreement with Telus as our network provider even in the US so we have to roam on all devices in the US. Are there any commands related to network attach and detach?

Thanks,
Doug Burrell
