EC21 False Server Timeout Error using QHTTPPOST

Hi! We are having a communications issue with some of our EC21 modems deployed in Indonesia.

These modems communicate regularly with a server, using an AT+QHTTPOST command. In many cases, this command returns an error message (for example error 706, server not responding after a timeout), even though the message was received successfully by the server. We have this issue with some modems more than others.

Does anyone know this behavior and can think of a way to troubleshoot it?

From your description, it may be that the server returned a message that was not received by the module or was received in error. Please use AT+QGMR instruction to query the software version currently in use. I would like to see if the new version fixes similar problems.

You can also run AT+QENG=“SERVINGCELL” to check whether the network signal is normal.
