VoLTE: yes on all four (Telia, Tele2, Telenor, Tre), and it is now the only voice path on three of them. Telenor, Tele2 and Tre shut 2G and 3G in December 2025; Telia keeps 2G only until 2027. PTS ordered those three to block, from 2 February 2026, any device that cannot reach 112 on the operator’s own network, so 112 over IMS is a go/no-go requirement, not a nice-to-have.
Module: EC200U supports VoLTE and 112 is a default emergency number. Not confirmed by us: 112 over IMS (IMS emergency registration) on EC200U-EU. That needs a field test per operator, with a SIM that actually has VoLTE enabled. Do not commit to Sweden without it.
Yes. The call audio is terminated in the module and leaves on the PCM/IIS port; there is no separate VoLTE audio route.
AT+QAUDSW=0 for external codec. On the embedded codec (=1) nothing appears on PCM.
AT+QDAI sets the format. EC200U is PCM/IIS slave only: the codec must be master and drive PCM_SYNC and PCM_CLK. Channels 1 to 4, 16-bit, short frame sync.
ALC5616 and NAU88C10 are auto-recognised; any other codec is configured by the host over AT+QIIC.
AT+QAUDCFG="urc",1 reports the per-call sample rate as +QSAMPRATE, which is what you clock the codec with.
