HI, I am using EC200u-CN module and not able to get GPS data in clear sky view. What I need to do ?

Thanks for reaching out with your query. Please try below steps to see if it resolves your issue.

  1. Ensure that the GPS antenna is connected properly and is receiving signals. Check for any obstructions that may be blocking the signals.

  2. Check if the AT+CFUN returns value “1”. If not, please set it to “1”.

  3. Check the GPS functionality is enabled on the module. You can use the “AT+QGPS” command to enable or disable GPS functionality. Make sure that the AT+QGPS? command returns value “1”. If not, send AT+QGPS=1 to enable it.

  4. Query the status of this command; AT+QGPSCFG=”autogps”. If it returns “0” set to “1” (i.e AT+QGPSCFG=”autogps”,1)

  5. Execute AT+QGPSPOWER=1 command to turn on the power supply of the active antenna circuit. After executing this command, wait for 20 seconds for the NMEA data to populate.
