[EC200S] AT+CPIN? returns "SIM busy"

Hi,

with one customers SIM card we are facing problems together with our EC200S modem.
After power up, we are checking the SIM status with AT-CPIN?. The modem reports “SIM busy” - also for subsequent retries (every second). The modem shows the error only with the SIM of this dedicated provider. All other SIMs we have used so far are working fine. And also the ICCiD can be read without any problem:

Furthermore, exactly this particular SIM works fine together with a BG95-M4 modem.

Any idea on what can be the root cause for this?

Can I ask if you will get this error if you change another SIM card?

Hi lyman-Q,
we have never seen issues like this with the SIM cards we have used so far. (from various different providers)
It is just one new provider (in Austria), who’s SIM cards have this issue.
These SIM cards work fine with other modems - also with the BG95-M4. Only the EC200S has this issue.
