EC200A-AU V02 A13 cannot register on Entel Bolivia (PLMN 73602) – firmware request

Hello Quectel Support,

I have an EC200A-AU V02 integrated into a Cudy LT500 V2.0 router in Bolivia. The module detects the Entel LTE network and the SIM card, but it cannot register on the network.

Module:

EC200A-AU
Revision: EC200AAUHAR01A13M16
Firmware: EC200AAUHAR01A13M16_01.200.01.200
SubEdition: V02

Router:

Cudy LT500 V2.0
Firmware: 2.4.16-20250804-150319

Network:

Entel Bolivia
PLMN: 73602
APN: 4g.entel

The same SIM works correctly in a mobile phone.

The modem detects Entel LTE:

AT+QNWINFO
+QNWINFO: "FDD LTE","73602","LTE BAND 4",2025

However:

AT+CEREG?
+CEREG: 2,0

AT+CGATT?
+CGATT: 0

AT+CEER
+CEER: "15 No Suitable Cells In Location Area"

The serving cell is detected with approximately RSRP -108 dBm.

I found another EC200A-AU case on this forum with very similar LTE registration problems where a newer firmware was provided.

Could you please confirm whether EC200AAUHAR01A17M16_01.200.01.200 is compatible with my EC200A-AU V02, and provide the firmware package, QFlash tool, and official upgrade procedure if applicable?

Since the module is integrated into a Cudy LT500 V2.0, please also advise on the safest way to update the modem.

Thank you.

Hi @Johny_Apaza,

Based on the information provided, the module can detect Entel Bolivia (PLMN 73602) on LTE Band 4, but it is not registering and reports:

+CEREG: 2,0
+CGATT: 0
+CEER: "15 No Suitable Cells In Location Area"

This indicates a network registration rejection. Since the same SIM works in a phone, we recommend checking the serving/neighbor cell information with:

AT+QENG="servingcell"
AT+CEREG=2
AT+CEREG?
AT+COPS=?

Regarding the firmware, I have reached out to you via email. Please check
