EC200/QuecOpen: Support for >0.3 MP SPI or MIPI CSI Cameras

Hello everyone,

I’m working with a Quectel EC200 module using the QuecOpen framework and I’d like to know if it’s possible to use cameras above 0.3 MP (SPI) or any MIPI CSI sensor. Specifically:

  1. Can EC200/QuecOpen support a higher-resolution SPI camera (for example, 1 MP)? If not, is that a hardware limitation or a software/driver issue?
  2. Is there any way to connect a MIPI CSI sensor (2-lane or 4-lane) directly to the EC200? If the module doesn’t have a CSI interface, could a CSI-to-SPI bridge be a workable solution?
  3. Has anyone tested a > 0.3 MP SPI camera or a CSI camera on the EC200? If so, please share details like the sensor model, resolution, frame rate, and any relevant configuration files.
