I am working with a Quectel EC200U-AU module and I need to use voice calls (VoLTE) together with SMS for a remote monitoring application.
The current firmware installed in the module is:
EC200UAUAAR03A01M08_OCPU_QPY
The module works correctly for LTE registration and SMS, but voice calls do not work.
Tests performed:
AT+CPIN? → +CPIN: READY
AT+CREG? → +CREG: 0,1
AT+CEREG? → +CEREG: 0,1
AT+COPS? → +COPS: 0,0,"ENTEL PCS",7
AT+CSQ → +CSQ: 23,99
AT+CLCC → OK
When trying to make a voice call:
ATD+569XXXXXXXX;
the module returns:
+CME ERROR: 53
Incoming calls are also not detected. There is no RING indication, and AT+CLCC returns only OK while an incoming call is being attempted.
The same SIM card works correctly for both voice calls and SMS when installed in a mobile phone.
I also tested GSM-only mode using:
AT+QCFG="nwscanmode",1
but the module could not register on the GSM network. In automatic mode (nwscanmode=0) it registers correctly on the Entel Chile LTE network.
I found information in this forum about EC200U QuecPython firmware versions with VoLTE support, including firmware names containing VOBT_OCPU_QPY.
Could you please provide or indicate the correct VoLTE-enabled OCPU/QuecPython firmware specifically for EC200U-AU?
I do not want to flash firmware intended for EC200U-CN/EU or another hardware variant.
My requirement is:
EC200U-AU + QuecPython/OCPU + SMS + VoLTE voice calls.
If a firmware update is required, please also provide the appropriate flashing tool/instructions for this EC200U-AU version.
