I’m trying to build a MiFi router with the help of EC25-EU modem (USB module in a QMI mode connected to a OpenWRT router). I’m getting a lot of problems with this modem, when traveling through Europe countries with a single sim card that has a roaming plan. Modem often disconnects and it is difficult to maintain stable connection, especially when switching providers or LTE bands (crossing the country / close to the border). I need to restart the modem (via software and sometimes via hardware) and sometimes a router.
What would be a recommended configuration for this modem for such a use case? Would it be more stable in usbnet mode? I already have the AT+QCFG=“roamservice” set to 2,255 (any).
