We’re seeking to use the BG95M3 modem for CoAPs communication. During our research, we discovered that a significant amount of data can be saved by using DTLS 1.2 with CID (Connection ID) enabled.
Is the BG95M3 capable of utilizing DTLS 1.2 with CID? If so, what is the minimum firmware version required?
If it is not currently supported, does Quectel plan to add this feature in future firmware updates?
We plan to use X.509 v3 certificates for our DTLS handshakes, which require a considerable amount of data. Our system will log into the server at least once a day, possibly more frequently.
