Hi there,
I am a student who works on my final college project related to IoT. I have purchased this LTE module online which contains a quectel chip, I am hoping to get hold of the windows drivers needed to get this module working from my end. I intend to install this module in a windows mini-PC and intend to use its internet capabilities and SMS sending functionalities, I am also exploring if this module can make programmatic voice calls for system notifications. Would you be so kind to guide me on how can i obtain the windows drivers for this module?
Based on the downloadable PDFs from the support page for the EG95-E module, i would need to obtain drivers from the quectel support team, as what i’ve read from your documentation..
I also saw that you provide this tool called QNavigator which I think I can use for my project as well for viability assessment. May I know how should i be able to obtain that as well?
I am using a module that has an EG95-E chip. Thank you so much!
I will send all of the drivers including the QNavigator.
Do you only use it on Windows?
It’s honored that you’re using this module.
RE: Drivers for EG95-E - Quectel Forums
Hi there,
Thank you so much for the fast response and great support.
I intend to use this with a windows Mini-PC (low powered windows intel based computer).
However, I might decide to integrate it with raspberry pi using ubuntu. Would you also have reference documents that you think can help me with this should I decide this route?
For Linux Actually there is only a guide
Quectel_UMTS_LTE_5G_Linux_USB_Driver_User_Guide_V3.1.pdf
If there is multi network interface on the RPI, we should decide the route.
I am sure whether it is what you want.
