I have a Teltonika RUT200 with a Quectel EC200A-EU modem.
The router was purchased in 2022 and had been working reliably for a long time. The modem was also working normally, with no problems with detection or stability.
After updating the RUTOS firmware, the modem firmware was also updated. Since then, the modem has become unstable: periodically the router stops detecting the modem. In some cases, rebooting the router restores the modem.
The current modem firmware is:
EC200AEUHAR01A19M16_01.200.01.200
Unfortunately, I don’t know the exact firmware version that was installed on the modem before the update.
I would like to roll back the modem firmware to an earlier version that was used with RUT200 and worked reliably.
Could you please provide:
- An older compatible firmware for the EC200A-EU modem used with RUT200, preferably a firmware version from the earlier RUT200 hardware/software generation.
- Instructions for safely rolling back the modem firmware.
- If modem firmware can be installed from a local file, instructions or information about the required firmware package format.
I have SSH/root access to the RUT200 and can run diagnostic commands or provide logs if required. I am also willing to test an older firmware and report the results.
