Does the BG96 have a user scratch pad area?

Hi,
I want to use SSL communications and store the passphrase internally within the BG96.

I want to know if there is an area within the BG96 that I can store a flag/string that my main application can read and determine of the BG96 has been configured (example in above SSL and other misc data) in our product facility, ready for installation in the final device.

You can save your temporary file and configure file in /datatx folder also
