Hi,
I am trying to find out whether EM06K-EA supports QMI. It is listed in option.c
And shows up as a serial interface, however does not appear to create a cdc-wdm device.
There is no explicit mention of it here
The EM06 supported QMI, and QConnectManager says it supports EM060K-GL - is that a different modem entirely? But I don’t see any mention of EM06K-EA

If it is supported, then perhaps the issue is simply that I need to add EM06K-EA’s product id to here
(which is 0x030b)

You have EM060 K-EA (please correct the topic title) in MBIM mode with cdc_mbim
driver missing.
You can run AT+QCFG=?
and see what are the supported values for AT+QCFG="usbnet"
, that should give you an idea about what modes are available.

I have also tried it with QMI mode, (QCFG usbnet “0”), it just happened to be in MBIM mode when I gave you those logs as I was trying both modes - the result was the same

Yes looks like adding
{QMI_MATCH_FF_FF_FF(0x2c7c, 0x030b)}, /* Quectel EM060K */
To qmi_wwan.c and making sure the required device was in option.c got it to work
