Does EG-915U LTE CAT 1 Module support SMS over IMS

Hi,
I am interested in the newly announced EG-915U cost effective module. I had a look several documents however it is not clear if the module has SMS over IMS feature. This feature is critical for the project I will be working on.

Sorry, currently EG915U does not support IMS, you can choose EC20 module to realize this function.

Is there any plan to add such support in the future to the module firmware ?

If there is no IMS support, does that mean the module cannot send or receive SMS messages without the presence 2G network ?

Is there any way that the module can send and received SMS messages over 4G network ?
