Hello Quectel Support,
I have two modems EG800K with different revisions. When I flash my device with one of these two modems, it works perfectly. I am able to configure different settings by AT commands such as AT+CMGF, AT+CSCS and other listed in the manual. The same firmware, though, does not work with a second modem. It only returns OK when sending AT, ATE0 or ATI.
The one working as expected has revision: EG800KEULCR07A07M04.
The one that returns errors whenever I try to change configuration is: EG800KEUCCR07A09M02.
Could you tell me what are the differences between these two revisions and provide me a download link for a firmware of the working revision?

For your query:
May I know what is the revision for both of your EG800K? If possible, can you give the OC name by check ing on top of the modules or run AT+QGMR
In my observation, it may not because of the firmware issue. Maybe you can try ATE1 command on the second module to enable the echo.

After further investigation, I know that there is problem with PPP mode. I write messeges and never get back anything. I send as follows these AT commands:
- "AT+CGDCONT=1, “IP”, “internet” - returns OK
- “AT+CGACT=1,1” - returns OK
- “AT+CGPADDR=1” - returns +CGPADDR: 1,“10.199.20.23” and OK
- "AT+CGDATA=“PPP”,1 - returns +CME ERROR: 50
Please provide me a firmware revision EG800KEULCR07A07M04 which I know that configure properly the PPP mode.

after further investigation I am almost sure that my firmware version does not support PPP mode.
Could you provide me a firmware version fot EG800K-EU-CC that fully supports PPP?
