Difference between M66FA-04-STDN and M66FB-04-STD

Hi Quectel

We have used the module M66FA-04-STDN on our boards and when ordering again it was mentioned that the chip is EOL and that the alternative is M66FB-04-STD. What is the difference between the chips and will it just be a drop in replacement? Will I be able to load my QuecOpen firmware on the M66FB-04-STD? Please also share the datasheet if it is available.

The difference between M66FB-04-STD and M66FA-04-STD is only pa, which does not affect use.
You need M66FC-based firmware to burn your open firmware, because M66FB’s firmware does not support the sdk.
Both M66FC and M66FB use the M66FB-04-STD hardware model.
