I have a GPD WinMax2 with a Quectel EG25-GC LTE modem. I have issues connecting to the internet. When i connect and ping 8.8.8.8 I get the Error “General Failure” back.
I already updated the drivers to the Version 20.0.65.3
This is my card:
ATI1 - Quectel
EG25
Revision: EG25GGCR07A02M1G
Maybe a firmware upgrade can help? Please, can you send me the latest firmware for my LTE model? Thanks.
Hi, I have same problem and same REV’
EG25GGCR07A02M1G
EG25GGCR07A02M1G_30.201.30.201
is this the latest fireware version?
Btw is it possible to change it to MBIM mode?
I’m not sure which windows update broken it, I can’t add APN and I can’t use it
Hi, I have already upgraded.
from the change log, I noticed the MBIM is added.
so I run
AT+QCFG=“usbnet”,2
and
AT+QCFG=“usbauto”
after reboot, there is only Remote NDIS based Internet Sharing Device
all Port are disappeared, and the connect is still not working.
How can I fix it?
thanks.
I believe I have a EG25-GC - at least that is what is showing up as unidentified in Device Manager in Windows 11. Do I need drivers and/or firmware to get it to work?
I just installed a GPD 4G LTE module into my GPD Pocket 4. It worked yesterday, somewhat - It connected using a T-Mobile SIM over IPv6, but could not get an IPv4 DHCP address. This morning windows stopped recognizing it all together and started reporting it as a EG25-GC rather than a Quectel WWAN device.
Thanks, but I checked my mailbox many times, there is no email about firmware…
Just to confirm, is the email address seanconsulting@outlook.com?
Thanks!
