+CSIM support on EC25-A

I am trying to access a UICC application using the +CSIM command (generic SIM/UICC access). I have tried opening a session using both the basic channel as well as a logical channel - both fail with a +CME ERROR error.

Basic Channel:

ATI
Quectel
EC25
Revision: EC25AFAR05A04M4G
OK

AT+CSIM=42,"00A4040010A0000005591010FFFFFFFF8900000100"
+CME ERROR: 0

Logical Channel:

AT+CSIM=10,"0070000000"
+CSIM: 6,"019000"
OK

AT+CSIM=42,"01A4040010A0000005591010FFFFFFFF8900000100"
+CME ERROR: 0

AT+CSIM=10,"0070800100"
+CSIM: 4,"9000"
OK

If I try the exact same sequences with a Gemalto modem with the same UICC, I do not get an error.

Basic Channel:

ATI
Cinterion
PLS62-W
REVISION 02.000
OK

AT+CSIM=42,"00A4040010A0000005591010FFFFFFFF8900000100"
+CSIM: 4,"9000"
OK

Logical Channel:

AT+CSIM=10,"0070000000"
+CSIM: 6,"019000"
OK

AT+CSIM=42,"01A4040010A0000005591010FFFFFFFF8900000100"
+CSIM: 4,"9000"
OK

AT+CSIM=10,"0070800100"
+CSIM: 4,"9000"
OK

Any suggestions?

Iā€™m also facing the same issue with my EC25. Revision: EC25EUGAR06A03M4G.
Please help.

We have a similar problem with an EG95.
