I would like to ask you about a problem I have when I try to register an AG566N-EU to our Open5GS core network using 4G/LTE. The Open5GS core network is configured using: VoLTE dockerized guide
The problem we have is, we’ve inserted a SIM card with some parameters programmed into the SIM and when the device is powered up (the quectel), it does not show any information regarding the registration against the network.
Our Open5GS is setup with the following info:
- MCC: 001
- MNC: 01
- TAC: 1
- RF Downlink is 2680.0 Mhz
- RF Uplink is: 2560.0 MHz
The SIM cards are from Oyeitimes which supports VoLTE and they are working correctly (before we used the Quectel AG566N, we used some mobile phones HUAWEI P20) and we did some calls between them.
On the side of the Quectel, we tried different AT commands but aren’t able to register the quectel against the network.
Please, can anyone help me with this problem? I can attach any logs or files needed.

Looks like SIM is working. But network is not detected. Did you connect antenna correctly?

First of all, I want to sorry myself for being too late. I’ve been quite busy with projects and things.
In response to your question. Yes, the antennas are correctly connected. Indeed I’ve working the quectel against our cell. The problem was that I had to change the EARFC from 3350 to 9400 because the device was not able to register against the Open5GS cell.
Right now, we’ve other problem related to the connection from the AG566N to the IMS infrastructure (Kamailio in this case). The problem indeed is that the device is always sending a SIP REGISTER to Open5GS and never stops. I attach you a picture with the problem in the hope this helps you because we’re stuck in this process and we don’t have so much experience with this kind of services.
Maybe someone can help me with this problem.
