Compatibility of RM500Q-GL with SUCI Calculation and Behavior with Service 124

I am trying to determine whether the RM500Q-GL, when used as a Mobile Equipment, supports a specific aspect of 5G subscription identifier privacy. Specifically:

  1. Will the RM500Q-GL perform the SUCI calculation if paired with a SIM that supports Service 124?
  2. Why does the user fail to perform the RA once this service is activated?

Dear @DavideBertolucci

RM500Q supports this SUCI calculation by default.

Why does the user fail to perform the RA once this service is activated?
=>Please give more information about this. It is better to provide log.

I activated the procedure on the SIM but not on the RM500Q-GL. Are there specific AT commands to activate the procedure on the Quectel side?

Dear @DavideBertolucci
Module supports it by default, no AT command to activate.

Thank you for your support. I’m attaching a Quectel log because it seems that the user is not calculating the SUCI.

Dear @DavideBertolucci
As checked internally, if there is no data in the card, it will use SUCI to calculate. If has, it will use the data in the card.

Dear Silvia,
If no data is present on the card and SUCI calculation is used, what data is taken for the calculation if nothing is explicitly specified? Shouldn’t it be possible to set a key for the computation? If not, what does it use by default?

Additionally, are there any SIM parameters that interfere with the SUCI calculation? Currently, the only parameters set on the SIM are MCC, MNC, SPN, MSISDN, ACC, KI, OP (or OPC), ICCID, and PIN.
