Codec audio not working

Subject: Voice Distortion Issue with WM8904 Codec at Frequencies Below 500 Hz on Quectel EC25E Module
Hello Quectel Community,

I am currently working with the Quectel EC25E module and the WM8904 audio codec. I have observed an issue related to the audio frequency settings that I hope to get some insights on.

ssue Description:

The WM8904 codec operates perfectly at a frequency of 1000 Hz, producing clear and undistorted audio. However, when I attempt to reduce the frequency to 500 Hz or lower, the audio output becomes distorted, leading to significant degradation in voice quality.

Configuration:

Codec Model - WM8904
Module - Quectel EC25E
Operating Frequency-
Working:-1000 Hz
Distorted:-500 Hz or lower

Hi @Firmware
The higher the sampling, the more real and natural the sound will be restored. Human’s frequency recognition range is 20HZ-20000HZ, if 20,000 sound samples can be collected per second, the playback can meet the needs of human ears.500Hz or lower sampling rate is not enough to meet the normal audio. It is recommended to use a high sampling rate to ensure that the audio is not distorted.
