Clear APN using AT+QCGDEFCONT

To register a BC66/BC66-NA there are usually two ways.

  1. Configure APN
  2. Let the module register automatically without configuring the APN.

If I first opt for Option 1 (AT+QCGDEFCONT) and then want to clear the APN to register automatically, do I just send the AT+QCGDEFCONT command without APN (to clear the APN)?

Hi lukegalea:
I don’t understand why you want to clear APN.If the APN you created is wrong, you can create a new one. If you use a private network APN, the requirements for APN are strict. The User_Name and Password of the APN you input must be exactly the same as the APN you applied for.But if you are using a public network APN, it does not matter if you input the wrong APN. The network will detect the APN you input. If it is wrong, the network will automatically assign a correct APN to the link to use.So you don’t have to worry, and you don’t need to clear the APN you set.

Thank you for clarifying this.
